Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."

Rob Reidenauer (Rooster) is excited to be reprising his role in this production of “Annie”. The last time he performed as Rooster, his daughter Grace performed as one of the Annie’s here at Cutting Edge. He is back, but she if off in Chicago this time working on her professional career. He is glad to be involved again and happy to perform with friends from the original production here again. You may have last seen Rob at Cutting Edge Theater last year portraying Trent Oliver in “The Prom”. Recent roles include Stacee Jaxx in “Rock of Ages”, Bill Austin in “Mamma Mia”, Angus Tuck in “Tuck Everlasting”, The Dentist in “Little Shop of Horrors” Mal Beineke in “The Addams Family” and Nicky in “Avenue Q”. Other favorites include, Kenickie in “Grease”, Rocky in “The Rocky Horror Show” and Rapunzel’s Prince in “Into the Woods”. Rob is and was inspired to perform by his children (Julian and Grace) and grateful to his wife Gretchen for always being giving with our time.
