Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."

A teacher and robotics coach by day, Jessica Guastella is excited to be back on the Cutting Edge stage. Annie is Jessica’s sixth show at CECA. You most recently saw her in the March production of “I Love the Nightlife”. She is very excited to get to share the stage with some amazing humans. Jessica would like to thank Brian for his dedication to quality community theater. "You're never fully dressed without a smile," and Jessica thanks everyone who made this show amazing, from promo pics, music, choreography, lights, sound, set, and costuming—without the whole village, we wouldn’t have such a wonderful show. Thank you to my family, friends, and boo for supporting me and understanding “I can’t, I have rehearsal.” 😘
