Cutting Edge Center of the Arts/ CECA is a performing arts program designed to educate and inspire children and families through the joy of performance.
Community-based, CECA serves families primarily in Southeastern Louisiana.
Cutting Edge Center of the Arts is a 501(c)3 non profit educational theatre program that brings together children from various religious and cultural backgrounds to learn about themselves, each other and the joy of performing!
By participating in a full scale theatrical production, children learn the basic elements of theatre, music and dance, while pushing their own creative and physical boundaries.
It also helps to enrich families, by providing an opportunity for parents to be a part of their children’s growth in a fun and creative way!
We rely on sponsors to help fund our programs .

Cambrie Roger is a 15 year old freshman at Pope John Paul High School. She is excited to be back on the Cutting Edge stage once again. This will be her eleventh show at CECA. You may have seen her this summer as Catherine Parr in Six the Musical and Shelby in The Prom. Cambrie would like to thank Mr. Brian, Ms. Sarah, Earl, and everyone else helping with this show. She would also like to thank her mom for driving her to practice.
