COCA MESA aka Joshua Mesa has been entertaining crowds for nearly 23 years as a drag illusionist, back up dancer and performer. Her talents not only include the art of lip sync, but Coca also sings live as well to audiences in New Orleans and the French Quarter where she currently resides. Coca has been honored as GAA Newcomer of the year, Miss Gay New Orleans America in 2004 and won 2009 GAA Entertainer of the year. Most recently named Southern Decadence Grand Marshal in 2017. Coca was a headliner in one of the most popular gay bars in the French Quarter for 17 years, performed on the Riverboat Louis Armstrong, a co-founder of the original “Drag Brunch” in New Orleans performing at many legendary restaurants and Casinos in the city.
