Missy Griffith is a Picayune native, wife, and mother of 4 beautiful children. She acquired a passion for the arts at an early age and continued that passion singing in church and various groups in life. She had the opportunity to perform with her children, at Cutting Edge Theatre, in the musical "Hairspray" as one of the singing Dynamites. She has been thankful to have had the opportunity to perform in the production of "That 70's show", as Ms. Gladys Knight, The Empress of Soul, "Dot Haigler" in "The Savannah Sipping Society", and Southern Fried funeral as Ms. Ozella Meeks. Her most memorable role yet was as the "Church Lady Jarene" in the award winning Broadway musical "THE COLOR PURPLE". She always give special thanks to her family for their endless support and Brian Fontenot for welcoming her back to the Cutting Edge family once more.
