Thais Kitchens, a New Orleans native now residing in Slidell is a loving wife and mother of three handsome young men. She is excited to grace the Cutting Edge Theater's stage once again as Ms. Shug Avery. Her most recent role was Betty in “Love Is A Battlefield-Back To The Chapel. She has had the privilege to embrace many other roles such as Deena Jones in “Dream Girls.” Riff Raff in Rocky Horror, Narrator in “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, Norma Desmond in “Sunset Blvd.”, Erzulie, the Goddess of Love, in “Once on This Island”, Jan in “Grease”, Killer Queen in “We Will Rock You”, Ms. Shug Avery in “The Color Purple”, and Ms. Diana Ross, just to name a few. She is grateful yet again to share her God given gift and love of theater with you! She would like to send a big Thank You to Brian and Richard for another great opportunity to share what she has truly grown to love.
