Kim grew up in Vicksburg,MS but has called Slidell home for 34 years after marrying her husband,Argusta. She began singing in ‘The baby choir’ in church and expanded her love of music to include piano. She has worked as an RN for over 40 years. She can be heard whistling and snapping her fingers in the hospital”s halls as she admits, there is always a song in her head. As a member of the ensemble, she is making her Cutting Edge debut. She has performed as Vivian in Slidell Little Theater’s A Lesson Before Dying and several church plays. She has also played ‘television background’ on Queen Sugar and The Thing About Pam. She thanks Brian and the cast for welcoming her to the Color Purple Family.
