Missy Griffith is a Picayune native, wife, and mother of 4 beautiful children. She acquired a passion for the arts at an early age & it remains today. She had the opportunity to perform with her children, at Cutting Edge Theatre, in the musical "Hairspray" starred as one of the singing Dynamites. She had the opportunity to perform w/Cutting Edge Theatre in the production of "That 70's show", as Ms. Gladys Knight, The Empress of Soul. In 2018, she starred as "Dot Haigler" in "The Savannah Sipping Society." Her most memorable role yet was as the "Church Lady Jarene" in the Broadway musical "THE COLOR PURPLE", which won Best Musical in the Broadway Regional awards. She also performed as Dinah Washington in Divas Live and her last to date show was the comedy, Southern Friend Funeral as "Ozella Meeks" of the Sunshine Committee.
