Kevin Smathers

Kevin appears as Grandpa Joe in his Cutting Edge debut. Delighted to be out of bed at last, Kevin is thrilled to share this magical journey with this talented cast. He is currently the theater teacher at Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy. Kevin is a long-time theater nerd, having appeared in many shows, most recently in Knoxville, Tennessee, as Frederick Egerman in A Little Night Music, Sam in Mamma Mia!, and Frank Cioffi in Curtains. He’ll be directing Mary Poppins for the River Region Drama Guild this summer at the LaFon Performing Arts Center in Luling, LA.
