Erica McMannis (Ensemble) is beyond excited to be part of Chicago with such an amazing cast. This marks her third performance at CECA; previous credits include Pink Lady in Grease (2012) and Lulu in Cabaret (2014), where she also served as choreographer. Chicago holds a special place in Erica’s heart. Her love of musical theatre began with dance at the age of three, leading to opportunities to perform iconic Fosse-style numbers such as “All That Jazz.” She also had the privilege of learning from Phil LaDuca, who worked with the legendary Bob Fosse. Erica is proud to be a member of Komenka Ethnic Dance and Music Ensemble, a New Orleans nonprofit arts organization dedicated to celebrating international folk cultures. Through Komenka, she has performed on stages around the world, including New Orleans, San Antonio, Canada, and Portugal. During the holiday season, she performs the role of Russian in The Nutcracker with her dance family and Ballet Hysell. Erica would like to thank Brian, Daniel, and Jessica for this amazing opportunity. She also sends her love to Brandon and her son, Arthur, for supporting her every step of the way.
